Michael S. Beck is a graduate economist and science manager with passion and has set himself the goal of ushering in a new era of study. His vision is to change the knowledge society and establish innovative study programs.
After studying economics at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, the former management consultant founded his own agency in 2011 and has since been advising well-known companies and institutions in the field of innovation management.
After teaching at various universities (University of Heidelberg / Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Mannheim / Munich Business School), he last worked as a university lecturer at the AMD Akademie Mode & Design (Department of Design at Fresenius University), where he taught in the areas of marketing, brand management, project management, innovation, knowledge and change management.
In 2014, he was appointed Dean of Studies for the bachelor’s degree course “Design and Innovation Management” and in this function headed the training of young managers for the creative industry until February 2018. Most recently, he worked as a staff unit of the university management of EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden/Oestrich-Winkel, where he headed Corporate Relations.
Now he wants to realize the vision of his own university.
